A delegation led by Shri Saurabh Jain, IAS, Nodal Officer for the Pradhan Mantri Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana (PMDD-KY), visited the ICAR–Indian Institute of Spices Research, Kozhikode. Kozhikode is one of the selected districts under the PMDD-KY scheme.
The delegation reviewed the ongoing research activities of the institute and discussed ways to strengthen the involvement of central and state institutions in the effective implementation of the scheme.
The visit included interactions with ICAR-IISR scientists on collaborative approaches for agricultural development in the spices sector.
