An awareness programme on the
Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (POSH Act)
was organised at ICAR - Indian Institute of Spices Research on
18 February 2026.
The programme aimed to familiarise employees with the provisions of the Act,
which safeguards women against sexual harassment at the workplace and provides
a structured redressal mechanism.
The session was delivered by
Adv. V. P. Radhakrishnan,
Mediator & Panel Lawyer, District Legal Services Authority, Kozhikode
,
who outlined key aspects of the Act and addressed queries from participants.
The awareness session provided valuable insights into workplace ethics, legal
safeguards, and the responsibilities of employees in fostering a safe,
respectful, and inclusive work environment.
