One day capacity building programme for women entrepreneurs was organized at ICAR-IISR on 3rd January 2024 as part of Pradhhan Mantri Formalization of Micro Food Enterprises (PMFME) scheme funded by Ministry of Food Processing Industries, GoI. Technical sessions on processing, value addition and quality management in spices were covered in the skill development programme. Hands on training was imparted to the women entrepreneurs on value added products of ginger. The programme was coordinated in collaboration with the agri-business incubator unit of Kerala Agricultural University.
