ICAR-IISR, Kozhikode is pleased to invite interesting candidates for the ‘Honorary Fellow Program’
Introduction and scope
The ‘Honorary Fellow Program’ at ICAR-IISR is established to provide valuable opportunities for laboratory exposure to fresh graduate and postgraduate students. This program aims to enhance their professional skills and foster mentor relationships. The honorary fellows can gain laboratory and field exposure at this institute.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should possess minimum a Bachelor’s degree
Application Process
Interested individuals can directly contact the Scientists of this Institute and if accepted, concerned Scientist may inform the HRD through proper channel and get approval from the competent authority.
The application should include the following:
- Proof of Bachelor’s degree
- Letter of intent indicating their commitment to abide by ICAR-IISR policies and guidelines for honorary fellow
Privileges and Benefits
Honorary fellows may be eligible for certain privileges, including:
- Access to institute facilities and resources.
- Mentorship and guidance from experienced Scientists.
- An official experience certificate provided by the Mentor.
This is an unpaid position, and fellows will not receive any financial compensation. An undertaking in this regard has to be submitted by the candidate to the Mentor before joining the programme
Participants need to make their own arrangements for accommodation and food
The Mentor may terminate the program any time and inform the HRD accordingly.
