In observance of World Environment Day, ICAR - Indian Institute of Spices Research (ICAR-IISR) organized a series of events on its campus. The theme for this year's celebration was "Land Restoration, Desertification, and Drought Resilience."

A large-scale tree planting drive was conducted as part of the program, encouraging environmental responsibility and promoting a greener campus. Additionally, Dr. Mohammed Musthafa, Remote Sensing Scientist at AiDASH Inc., delivered an awareness lecture on "Intelligent Remote Sensing Solutions: Land Restoration, Desertification and Drought Resilience - Opportunities and Challenges" to our staffs and students.

Dr. D Prasath, Director in-charge of ICAR-IISR, presided over the program.
