Webinar on FFSSAI licensing regulations and essentials of packing and labelling

Agri Business Incubator of ICAR-Indian Institute of Spices Research, Kozhikode in collaboration with Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) Cochin organized a webinar on FSSAI licensing regulations and essentials of packing and labelling for Agri-food tech entrepreneurs and startups on 19th June, 2024. Dr. Sajesh VK, Senior Scientist, ICAR-IISR Kozhikode introduced the topic and offered welcome address. Ms. Dhanya KN (Deputy Director), Dr. Hema Persis Andrews (Technical Officer) and Mr. Sooraj Surendran (Technical Officer) from FSSAI, Cochin handled sessions on Introduction to FSSAI, FSSAI Licensing and regulations and Packing and Labelling of food products.  Dr. Deepu Krishnan (Assistant Manager, Research and Innovations Kerala, KSUM) was the moderator of the program. More than 200 entrepreneurs of food processing sector participated in the webinar and interacted with the resource persons. Dr. Maneesha SR, Scientist, ICAR-IISR, Kozhikode offered vote of thanks at the end of the program.
